Tennessee shares its state tree, the popular tulip tree or tulip polar, with Indiana and Tennessee.
However, Tennessee has two more official trees. The eastern red cedar (below left) is the official evergreen tree, while the showy yellowwood (right) was named the official bicentennial tree.
